Mikve of Marmoutier

This mikveh was a private mikveh and is housed in a house that was the home of rabbanimes during the nineteenth century and is a museum of folk art today. It is in the cellar of this house and was built in the eighteenth century. This mikveh used the waters of the water table. This mikve is no longer practicable because of the lowering of the water table. The photos were taken in 1996.
